THO2 is one of the most versatile and powerful 2-channel mic preamps in the world. It is capable of delivering a clean but vivid sound as excellent compainion for paino, vocal, acoustic guitar, and strings. It is also rich in character options, including an additional permalloy output transformer - you are free to add colour and harmonics for stylish results.
Matching its 8-channel brother HO8, the HO2 is an all-discrete with 6 independent high-voltage opamps inside, accompanied by a 56V linear power supply unit. Such luxurious specifications grant HO2 a 75dB mic gain while maintaining a linear frequency response and distortion expression.
As a reliable modern premium mic preamp with ultra-sophisticated analog circuits, HO2 is a collectible piece of gear for studios of all sizes.
