Authentic SSL Sound
At its heart, high-performance THAT 2181 VCAs and SSL’s unique sidechain architecture deliver the punch, cohesion and musicality that define the classic SSL sound. From subtle mix bus glue to assertive drum compression, it keeps transients controlled while bringing elements together.
Variable VCA Drive
Move from the clean, transparent response of SuperAnalogue designs to the harmonic richness and saturation of classic 4000 Series and FX384 consoles, with drive levels reaching up to 10% THD.
Classic Control. Greater Musicality.
Precision six-position stepped controls ensure fast operation and accurate recall. Expanded ratio and release options, including SSL Auto Release, provide greater flexibility while preserving the immediacy of the original workflow. From gentle 2:1 compression to more assertive processing, every setting delivers its own musical character.
